PREPARING YOUR CHURCH FOR REVITALIZATION

Lesson 1 : The Revitalizing Pastor

Successful revitalization requires healthy leadership. The first lesson is focused on the leadership qualities that are necessary for navigating the revitalization process. In addition to the training video, this lesson includes two assessments you can use to measure your leadership readiness for revitalization.

Lesson 2 : Barriers to Revitalization

Revitalization is not easy. If you’ve registered for this course, you probably already know that. This lesson defines the three key barriers to revitalization that most churches experience. At the end of the lesson, you’ll have access to a tool your team can use to diagnose which barrier (or barriers) that your church is facing.

Lesson 3 : Spiritual Formation & Revitalization

The process of revitalization is just as spiritual as it is strategic. If the spiritual climate in your church is not what it needs to be, your church will struggle. This lesson will guide you in a practical way on how you can get your church spiritually prepared for the process of change and revitalization. A PDF of a spiritual formation exercise is included with the lesson.

Chapter 4 : A Framework for Revitalization

Churches that lack a clear process for revitalization will wander aimlessly and unsuccessfully for years. Perhaps you’ve already experienced this yourself! This final lesson walks you through a proven framework for revitalization called Strategic Envisioning. Whether you ever enroll in the full course or work with a guide one-on-one in the future, this lesson will give clarity around a process you can commit to that will lead your church to experience healthy, sustainable growth.
